IMC India Calling Conference 2021
IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mumbai (IMC-formerly Indian Merchants’ Chamber)extends warm greetings and best wishes for 2021.
IMC is writing this letter to inform you of an international conference, IMC India Calling Conference that IMC holds annually. It is an annual feature established by IMC to provide networking platform for Indian and global players to come together and debate, share insights and explore potential investment opportunities and collaborations. Each year, a couple sectors are chosen to focus on where maximum opportunities are available.
Annual IMC India Calling Conference for the year 2021 is scheduled on Friday, March 12, 2021.
Considering the prevailing situation around COVID 19 pandemic, this year we have decided to host this Conference in hybrid format - Online as well as in-person presence. The venue for physical Conference is Hotel Taj Lands End in Mumbai which will have restricted seats to comply with social distancing norms. We will inform you of online platform shortly.
The Conference will focus on the following two sectors:
Smart Infrastructure
Green Technology – Mobility and Sustainability
You will recall that the last year the same India Calling Conference which was scheduled on March 12, 2020 had to be cancelled on the day of the Conference as the government announced lockdown from that morning. This year, hence, we are continuing with the same sectors which were the focus of the last year’s Conference and which are still very relevant from point of view of opportunities.
The Conference will bring together policy makers, government officials, economists, banks and financial institutions, companies working in these sectors, logistic providers, investors, academic institutions, industry associations and other experts to discuss and share insights into development of markets in India, policy inputs and opportunities for companies to invest and collaborate in above two sectors.

The IMC India Calling Conference 2021 is an excellent opportunity to participate and get comprehensive understanding of opportunities, projects and policies in India for investment and collaboration in the areas of Smart Infrastructure (opportunities in key component of smart cities in digital era like securing cities, smart mobility, smart parking, intelligent transport networks for urban transport, best practices from across India, solid and water waste management, Smart health and sanitation, and others) and Green Technology (renewable energy, electric vehicles and batteries, green buildings and lighting, green composting, and others). The participation will also provide a great platform to network with executives and decision makers of Indian companies and of government authorities relevant to the focus areas of the Conference.
