Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) on Indian Spices during World Food India (WFI) 2024

Indian spices have been appreciated and sought by global markets for centuries. Being the largest producer and consumer of spices in the world, India accounts for over a quarter of the global spice trade and the Indian agro-climatic conditions favour cultivation of nearly 75 of the 109 spices listed by the International Organisation for Standardization. Indian spices are not only valued for their culinary uses but also for their rich texture, flavour, aroma and medicinal properties.

To further enhance Indian spices exports, Spices Board of India is attending at the World Food India 2024 (WFI 2024) scheduled from September 19-22, 2024 at the Bharat Mandapam in the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. Key elements of WFI include exhibition, knowledge sessions and conferences, industry roundtables with policy makers , B2B , B2G and G2G meetings, digital showcase of innovations and technology, food preservation and sustainability, government initiatives, food streets, awards, and Reverse Buyer Seller Meets (RBSM).

Spices Board of India is setting up a mega " Spices of India pavilion " and will organize a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) with the participation of Indian spice exporters and processors during WFI 2024, displaying some of the finest spices from India. Major spices importers and buyers from China are invited to participate in WFI 2024. The importers who wish to attend WFI 2024 may make their own travel arrangement and Spices Board shall facilitate their participation in the RBSM in the form of visa facilitation, local transport, entry for the event and stay in some exceptional cases.
