Emergency Certificate

  1. Eligibility- Any Indian national, who has lost/damage his/her passport and not eligible for issue of new passport at the mission.
  2. Report to nearest Police station and lodge a Police report.
  3. Keep a copy of Police Report. Deposit the original Police Report at nearest EXIT & Entry Bureau and collect a certificate of loss of passport from the Bureau.

Documents Required

  1. Fill ECform at the link : - https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/ bring hard copy of it.
  2. Copy of Police Report /EXIT & ENTRY BUREAU Certificate.
  3. Copy of 1st, last & valid visa page of passport.
  4. Any photo ID card proof.
  5. Photographs-3 (White background of 5x5x5 cm size).

  1. I. Embassy of India, Beijing:

Collection of fee/documents, Time – 09.00 to 11.00 hrs & Delivery of consular services - 4 to 5 PM on any working days

 II. CGI Shanghai/CGI Guangzhou:

Collection of fee/documents, Time – 09.30 to 12.00 hrs & Delivery of consular services - 4 to 5 PM on any working days

  1. All original documents (including passport) are to be submitted for verification and returned.
