Poetry Reading by Nabaneeta Dev Sen, August 27, 2012

Embassy of India organised a poetry reading and interaction by famous Bengali poet and author Ms Nabaneeta Dev Sen at the Embassy on 27th August 2012. Ms Nabaneeta Sen, who was accompanied by her actor daughter Nandana Sen, interacted with the academics and litterateurs of Bangla, including lovers of Bangla literature of Bangladesh origin.

Eminent Bangla language expert Mr Bai Kai Yuan did the Chinese interpretation of Ms. Nabaneeta Dev Sen’s poems. The audience included people from the Indian and Bangladeshi diaspora, Chinese students, academics, researchers and diplomats.

Ambassador of India Dr. S. Jaishankar graced the occasion.
