Ambassador Ashok K. Kantha met with H.E. Mr. Zhang Yong, Minister of China Food and Drug Administration on 24th March at the CFDA offices. The meeting was part of regular high-level contacts between the two countries. They discussed measures to strengthen bilateral pharmaceutical cooperation, pursuant to the exchange of Prime Ministerial visits last year. Pharma sector has been recognized as a priority area for India-China trade and economic engagement.
