Press Release: Visit of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana to China (7-15 September 2015)

On the invitation of the World Economic Forum, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana, is leading an official and business delegation to China from 7-15 September 2015.

Chief Minister Rao attended the World Economic Forum meeting in Dalian on 8-9 September. He addressed the sessions on 'Cross Industry Mayors' and 'Markets Emerging at Crossroads' during the WEF. He also had bilateral meetings on the sideline of the WEF, apart from other business engagements. Chief Minister Rao addressed a Business Meeting hosted by the China People's Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), Liaoning Chapter, with participation by 43 Chinese companies that have interest in developing trade and economic cooperation with Telangana.

Chief Minister Rao visited Shanghai and Beijing thereafter from 10-13 September. In Beijing, he has discussions with leading Chinese companies representing infrastructure, railways, construction, real estate and electronics that have investment and business interest in Telangana. Chief Minister Rao will also cover Shenzhen and Hong Kong during this visit to explore enhanced business opportunities and to discuss possibilities for cooperation in Telangana.
