NOTICETO FOREIGNERS TRAVELLING TO INDIA CARRYING SATELLITE PHONES IN INDIA IS NOT ALLOWED

As per the existing guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs of India, carrying satellite phones by foreigners into India is banned. Any foreigner coming to India on Tourist Visa is prohibited to carry satellite phones with him/her while visiting India.

2. Foreigners on tourist visa carrying satellite phones will be intercepted and their satellite phones will be seized.

3. Hence, foreigners travelling to India onTourist Visa may kindly take note of the above and not carry satellite phones to India during their visit. Any violation of this regulation will be dealt strictly as per the existing laws of India.
