24x7 Multilingual Tourist Helpline

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has introduced a 24x7 Toll Free Multi-Lingual Tourist Helpline to facilitate foreign tourists traveling in India.

2. The 24x7 Toll Free Multi-Lingual Tourist Helpline is available in 12 International Languages, namely Chinese, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish as well as Hindi & English.

3. This service is available on toll free number 1800111363 or on a short code 1363 and operational 24X7 (365 days in a year) offering a multi-lingual help desk.

4. The objective of this multi-lingual helpline is to provide information relating to travel and tourism in India to domestic and international tourists present in India.

5. The helpline also advises callers during the times of distress, if any, while traveling in India and alerts the concerned authorities, if required.
