Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in his keynote address at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention held in Bengaluru from 7-9 January 2017 had announced a scheme for researchers and scientists VAJRA: Visiting Advance Joint Research Faculty. A brochure on the scheme brought out by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology is attached which has the highlights and procedures for implementing the scheme.
