National Football Teams of India and China play international friendly after 21 years

1. India’s National Football Team played an international friendly match with China’s National Football Team at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium on 13 October 2018 in Suzhou city, China.

2. The match was held as part of the run-up to the Asian Football Federation’s Asian Cup 2019. This was the first time the Indian team played an international match in China, and it was also the first time the the two sides have played each other in 21 years.

3. The match was played in the true spirit of sportsmanship and reflected the strong values that underpin the growing people-to-people exchanges between India and China.
