Advertisement for Yoga Teacher

Embassy of India in Beijing invites applications from  Yoga experts/ teachers to teach Yoga (Beginner/ Intermediate) at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) on part-time and  on monthly honorarium basis. The post would be on short term contractual  basis. In addition to regular classes at SVCC, he/she shall contribute to outreach activities at other venues including performances, workshops, lecture-demonstrations etc.

Essential Qualifications:

• Candidate should be an Indian Citizen or NRI with valid work permit to teach Yoga
• Fluency in English and Chinese languages
• Having a 3 years degree with minimum 3 years experience in teaching Yoga or a 2-year Diploma/Certificate or training from renowned Yoga Institution or Gurukul  with 4 years of teaching experience in India or China
• He/She should have adequate knowledge of History, Philosophy, culture and tradition of India
• Experience in conducting Yoga programmes, workshops and lecture demonstrations.
• Sound knowledge of using Computer and Social media
• Candidate must have good communication skills and must  actively participate in all Yoga and culture related activities of the Embassy.

Age: Between 25-50 years
