VISIT OF CHIEF MINISTER OF JHARKHAND SHRI RAGHUBAR DAS TO CHINA (02-06 Sep 2018)

At the invitation of the International Department of Communist Party of China, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand ShriRaghubar Das is currently visiting China from 02-06 September 2018. The visit is part of regular exchanges between India and China under MEA-IDCPC MoU. 

Chief Minister ShriRaghubar Das is accompanied by Minister of Rural Development ShriNilkanth Singh Munda, Minister of Revenue, Land Registration, Tourism, Youth, Culture and Sports Affairs Shri Amar Kumar Bauri and Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Transport ShriChandreshwar Prasad Singh. 

The delegation visited Shanghai and Beijing and will also be visiting Zhengzhou, Henan Province. On 4 September, Chief Minister Das met with Mr. Song Tao, Minister of International Department of CPC in Beijing. He also called on Mr Huang Kunming, Politbureau Member and Head of Publicity Department of CPC. They discussed issues related to bilateral relations as well as exchanged views on socio-economic development of provinces. 

While in Zhengzhou, the delegation will be meeting provincial leadership of Henan Province and visiting major food processing and infrastructure companies of China. Chief Minister Das invited the Chinese companies to invest in Jharkhand.
