    Bhairav se Bhairavi Tak – Indian Classical Music Concert

    Embassy of India,Beijing, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi and National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing are jointly organizing a Music concert of Indian Classical Music by the inimitable duo of Indian classical vocalists Pt. Rajan and Sajan Misra and their team. They would be performing a collection of ragas, an Indian musical format where the musical notes are put in various combinations to arrive at a beautiful melody.

    2.The concert will be organized on 10th March 2018 at 1500 hrs at the prestigious National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing.

    3.The Misra brothers are renowned Indian classical vocalists from the city of Varanasi in India. They belong to the family of great maestros of Varanasi and commenced their tutelage from a very tender age. Varanasi, one of the oldest cities of the world, is also a UNESCO declared City of Music. It is enriched with centuries of musical, spiritual and cultural heritage. The voice of Misra brothers carry the nuances of this ancient musical city and render it for the contemporary world. Their creativity and contribution to the Music world has delighted the audience all over the world and is well acknowledged. They are an honoured recipient of prestigious Padma Bhushan Award, Tansen Award among many others.

    4.Noted Chinese dignitaries as well as members of the diplomatic community in Beijing would be attending the event.
